These General Terms & Conditions of Sale (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made on maisonnumero12.com (the “Website”).


The Website is operated by Maison Numéro 12, with registered office at 51 bis rue de la Roquette, 75011 Paris, France, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register (RCS) under number 887 634 731, (hereinafter “Maison Numéro 12”, “we”, “us”, “our”).


We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms applicable to your order are those in force on the date you place your order on the Website.

 

 

 

I. THE CUSTOMER

 


To place an order on the Website, you must be:

 

  • a consumer (not acting for business purposes),

  • 18 years old or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), and

  • legally capable of entering into a contract.

 


The personal information provided when creating an account or placing an order must be complete, accurate, and up to date. Maison Numéro 12 shall not be responsible for non-delivery due to incorrect information provided by the customer.


We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of suspected fraud, payment incident, or where there is a prior dispute relating to a previous order.

 

 

 

II. THE PRODUCTS

 


The products offered for sale are those displayed on the Website.


We make every effort to present and describe products as accurately as possible (including photographs and colors). However, slight differences may occur depending on screen settings and handmade variations.


If a product delivered is non-conforming to its description, we will remedy this non-conformity by repair, replacement, exchange, or refund, as applicable and in accordance with the law.

 

 

 

III. ORDERING

 


Orders are placed by following the online checkout process. Before final confirmation, you can review your order details and total price and correct any errors.


Your order is confirmed once:

 

  1. payment is accepted, and

  2. you receive an order confirmation email.

 


The order confirmation constitutes acceptance of these Terms and forms a contract of sale between you and Maison Numéro 12.


We reserve the right not to process an order that is non-compliant with these Terms or in case of suspected fraud. If we refuse an order, we will inform you by email.

 

 

 

IV. PRICES & PAYMENT

 


 

A. Prices

 


Prices are shown in euros (€) unless indicated otherwise. Shipping fees (if applicable) are calculated and displayed at checkout before payment.


We may change prices at any time, but products are billed on the basis of the prices in force at the time the order is placed, subject to availability.


Important — Orders outside the EU:

For orders shipped outside the EU, the customer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, and carrier-related fees charged by local authorities. These charges are collected by the carrier and are not controlled by Maison Numéro 12.


 

B. Payment methods

 


Payments are processed securely via our payment providers. We accept payment by:

 

  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express

  • Apple Pay

  • Klarna (where available at checkout)

  • PayPal (if enabled at checkout)

 


Payment information is encrypted and handled by certified payment providers. Maison Numéro 12 does not store full card details.

 

 

 

V. DELIVERY

 


 

A. Delivery areas

 


We ship to the destinations displayed at checkout. We do not deliver to P.O. boxes or hotels.


 

B. Shipping fees & free shipping within Europe

 


Shipping fees are displayed at checkout before payment.


Free shipping within Europe applies to orders over €80 (after discounts, excluding shipping, where applicable). For orders under €80, shipping fees apply and are displayed at checkout.


 

C. Delivery times

 


Delivery times shown on the Website are estimates and apply from the date of dispatch.

 

  • France: Colissimo — approx. 2–3 business days

  • Europe (excluding France): Colissimo — approx. 3–4 business days

  • US & Canada: approx. 4–5 business days

  • Australia: approx. 6–7 business days

 


Maison Numéro 12 cannot be held responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs clearance, exceptional events, or incorrect delivery information provided by the customer.


 

D. Customs (outside the EU)

 


For shipments outside the EU, delivery may be delayed until customs formalities are completed and any duties/taxes are paid by the customer.


 

E. Delivery issues / damaged parcels

 


If your parcel arrives damaged (opened package, missing items, visible damage), please:

 

  • notify the carrier upon delivery when possible, and

  • contact us as soon as possible at info@maison12.com with photos and your order number.

 

 

 

 

VI. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

 


Maison Numéro 12 is committed to product quality. If you are not satisfied, you may request a return under the conditions below.


 

A. Return window

 


You may request a return within 14 calendar days of delivery.


 

B. Conditions of return

 


Returned items must be:

 

  • unused, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in original condition,

  • returned in the original packaging,

  • accompanied by proof of purchase.

 


We reserve the right to refuse a return if the item is returned in a condition that does not comply with these conditions.


 

C. How to request a return

 

 

  • Customers in Europe: once your return request is approved, we will provide a prepaid return label and instructions. Return shipping is free within Europe.

  • Customers outside Europe: email us at info@maison12.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide the return address and a reference number to include on the parcel. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer outside Europe.

 


 

D. Refunds

 


Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe after inspection (bank processing times may vary).


 

E. Exchanges

 


Exchanges are possible where stock/availability allows. For customers outside Europe, Maison Numéro 12 covers the cost of re-shipping the exchanged item up to one exchange per order, while return shipping to us remains at the customer’s expense.

 

 

 

VII. WARRANTIES & LIABILITY

 


Customers benefit from applicable legal warranties under French and EU consumer law, including the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, where applicable.


To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maison Numéro 12 shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of the Website or the purchase of products, except in cases where liability cannot be excluded by law.

 

 

 

VIII. PERSONAL DATA

 


We collect and process personal data necessary to manage orders, delivery, customer support, and fraud prevention. Such data may be shared with service providers strictly required for order fulfillment (payment processors, carriers, e-commerce hosting).

These Terms and any purchase made on the Website are governed by the laws of France.
