“A few refined habits—so your piece stays bright, effortless and flawless.”
Our jewellery is designed to be worn often—and kept for years.
Each Maison Numéro 12 piece is handcrafted and finished with care. To preserve its shine, colour and comfort over time, we recommend a few simple habits.
1) Daily care
-
Put your jewellery on after applying perfume, creams or hair products.
-
Avoid contact with alcohol-based products (hand sanitiser), chlorine and harsh detergents.
-
Remove jewellery before showering, swimming, sport or sleeping to limit knocks and friction.
2) Storage
-
Store each piece individually in its pouch to prevent scratches and tangling.
-
Keep jewellery away from humidity and direct sunlight.
Top tip (necklaces): leave the clasp slightly outside the pouch before closing it—tangles usually start at the ends.
3) Cleaning (simple & safe)
-
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.
-
If needed, use a slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately with a clean cloth.
-
For 925 sterling silver, you may use a dedicated silver polishing cloth occasionally.
4) About plated jewellery (gold / silver plated brass)
Plated pieces are made to last, but the finish can naturally evolve with time and friction.
To keep the plating beautiful for longer, avoid repeated contact with water, perfumes and rubbing against hard surfaces, and always store the piece in its pouch.
5) About resin, cords & rubber
These materials are lightweight and durable, but they can mark if rubbed against rough surfaces.
Wipe gently with a soft cloth and store flat to maintain their original shape.
